Study Demonstrates That Student Goal-Setting Can Work In Language-Learning Classroom

Goal Setting and Student Achievement: A Longitudinal Study is a new-to-me study (it’s actually ten-years old) documenting the effectiveness of student goal-setting in U.S. Spanish-language learning classrooms.

I think it provides some good guidance to those of us teaching ELLs, and provides an excellent summary of research (up to the date of the study’s publication) on student goal-setting.

I’m adding it to Best Posts On Students Setting Goals.
